APRICOT is a modern rock band based in Bhopal blending different sub-genres of rock like classic rock, punk rock, alternative rock, heavy rock etc. Formed in early 2016, the band released their first single "Anger Management" the same year later in December. Soon after their first release, the band started covering music festivals and Headlining acts. The core members of APRICOT- Ujjwal Singh (Vocalist/Guitarist), Villy Michael (Bassist) and Hansraj Shankushal (Drummer) come from different tastes in music and hence have different approaches to creating music which gave them a perfect mix for creating something new. The band thrives to create music in different flavours, inspirations and languages.
The band released their first album named "MATLABI JAHAAN" in 2019, with its opening song "RAAT" hitting 100K views on YouTube. The band's motivation is to create music which has a unique sound and presents something the people haven't yet heard.
