On the eve of Maha Shivarathri, here is our musical offering, in the form of a melodic devaranama composed by Saint Purandaradasa (1484 - 1564) in praise of Lord Shiva – featuring Abilash Giri Prasad on the vocals and Swaminathan Selvaganesh on the Kanjira (South Indian Classical drum). This song is set to tune in Raga Dabari Kaanada and Adi tala.
