Dogri is an Indo-Aryan language spoken mainly in northern India by approximately five million people. People who speak Dogri are called Dogras and a region which is Dogri speaking is called Duggar. A unique characteristic about this language is that unlike most Indo-European languages, it is tonal, which means that pitch is used in language to distinguish lexical or grammatical meaning.
