Down the Road

I’m heading, down the road And I’m pulling, a heavy load I’m southern, proud and free With my diesel, my dog and me Heaven knows, what I’ve seen Gods green earth, to hell in between When the chapel bell rings, it rings so clear But Its down the road, that I gotta steer I got a family, in the country And a horse in the field The sound of the road, keeps calling I find myself back, behind the wheel
