The Wishess is an Alternative Rock band which has won hearts with its soulful performances. Based in Imphal (India), the band was the first winner of Shirock in 2017. The band opened for American legend Steelheart in their first ever show in 2010 and since then have been delivering powerful performances across the country. The band members include Bishikanta (vocals), Izzy Naw (Lead guitar) , Bona So (Lead guitar), Maverick Fink (Bass) and Chingkhel (Drums). Jonah Pamei is a singer and songwriter from Tamenglong, Manipur. He showed his interest in music from a very early age and is currently based in Delhi. He got his degree in music from Trinity College (London) and Rockschool (UK). He is known for his unique music drawing inspiration from artists such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, John Mayer, Michael Buble and many more. There's no particular genre of music that one can assign him to, as he enjoys experimenting with different styles like R&B, Soul, Pop Rock, Blues, Funk Rock, etc. He has also played for big events like Hornbill and NorthEast festival along with his band. This fantastic singer also performs as in-house musician for some of the best cafes in Delhi. Jonah and his band has also released two singles which were an instant hit in the indie music circuit.
