2016: End Of A Musical Era!
The Demise of George Michael would have been one of the most tragic news on Christmas and as the year ends, the loss of another brilliant musician is a deep wound for the fans.

1. David Bowie
The Rock icon left his fans heart broken on the January 10th, two days post releasing 'Blackstar' struck the market internationally. The musician was an embodiment of innovation. He was fighting cancer of which only a few people outside his family knew.
One of the most influential celebrities of 1980s died on the April 27th due to an accidental case of painkillers overdose. The 'Purple Rain' star who popularized his own style of sensual and dance-able funk, was the star who was most looked up-to but was also famously reclusive.
3. Glenn Frey
The co-founder and front man of the Eagles died on January 18 at the age of 67. People never get over their most successful act - 'Hotel California'.
4. Rick Parfitt
The Life of Status Quo, Rick Parfitt was a hard-charging, hard-hitting guitarist who inspired many generations of musicians with his art died on December 24 at the age of 68.
5. Sharon Jones
The most celebrated Funk singer, who rose to fame at a late age and came to be called as Lady James Brown,died on November 18 following a Cancer illness at the age of 60.
6. George Michael
The singer, one of the bright lights of giddy 1980s pop with the duo Wham! before a troubled solo career, died at his home outside London at the age of 53, apparently on December 25. The Careless Whisper singer had numerous health scares and drug-related incidents late in life.
