But I started by learning to play the keyboard, and then went on to tabla while simultaneously learning the basics of guitar. In 2006 I Met Rustam Sir They Taught e Drums...Now I'm Playing Drums in the Band.
Independent music is still not considered a secure career in India, how did you deal with the conventional thought process?
I have not had to deal with that kind of thinking very much because my parents are very supportive of my music.
What is the inspiration behind your music?
My inspiration is based on emotion. Whenever I wrote any piece of music, it reflected what state of mind I was in at the time.
Who are some of the artists who have inspired your style of music?
I have been greatly inspired by the band Dream Theater and specially the playing of John Petrucci.
And lately quite a bit by Lamb of God. Apart From That I'm a Music head so I'm Never Be Bound by Any Genre.
Which are some of the most memorable performances of yours so far?
When we played at Fraser Suites. It started out as quite a disaster, but in the end it all worked out.
Also When I Play With Decibel Beats in 2011 @PUNE. That’s Was When I Got a Kiss by a Cute Girl.
What do you think about the changing scenario of Independent music in India?
I've recently seen a lot of bands doing really well, they may not be earning a lot of money but they are making good music and getting the opportunity to showcase that music.
What gives you more satisfaction as a musician- creating new music or performing or jamming?
I really like creating music and doing covers. Making A music & living Through it (Its A Best Feeling Ever).
What is your practice regime? How much do you practice on daily basis?
I normally practice about 2 hours a day when I get the time otherwise about an hour.
